Welcome to DFWSinfonia.org, the website for the Dallas Fort Worth Area Alumni Association of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. We’re a group of Sinfonians from all over the DFW Metroplex. DFWAAA Group Picture Since 1995, we’ve been getting together monthly to rekindle the fraternal flames and bond in the spirit of brotherhood. Our members live in cities throughout the metroplex including Dallas, Garland, Richardson, McKinney, Denton, Arlington, Bedford, Plano, Oak Point and many more places. Membership in the DFWAAA is open to all alumni Sinfonians.

Our members come from many different walks of life; we have brothers who are composers and professional musicians, financial planners, mortgage bankers, restaurant managers, computer network consultants, college professors, band directors, private music teachers, and even some who are retired. The diversity of thought within the group always makes for interesting discussions.

We offer support to the collegiate chapters here in Province 32, and we sponsor yearly province-wide events to help foster the communication between the chapters. We participate in other Province and National activities too, like the Province 32 & regional workshops, and the triennial assembly. We are in contact with the other established alumni associations and various alumni interest groups across the country, and we try to share our ideas and enthusiasm for Sinfonia with them. We have donated money to local and regional efforts to support music and musicians, and are also working to donate instruments to area band programs in support of the next generation of musicians.

Our hope for the DFWAAA is to be an embodiment of the promise of a life-long experience in fraternal brotherhood, as stated in the motto: Once a Sinfonian, Always a Sinfonian, Long Live Sinfonia!
